the lowest prices are generally available in October thru November. Prices for other destinations, such as those in Asia and Australia, will be higher during holidays and peak months for tourism in those countries.

Can I bring liquor on Amsterdam?
Amsterdam passengers are not allowed to bring alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages. The only exception to this rule is wine or champagne, which can be brought on board or purchased on the ship. (There will be a corkage fee of 18 USD for wine and champagne brought to restaurants and bars onboard ship.) Otherwise, alcoholic beverages that are purchased in
ports-of-call or from Shops On Board the Amsterdam will be stored and delivered to your stateroom on the last day of the sailing. When you board the Amsterdam cruise on the first day of the cruise, alcoholic beverages (other than wine or champagne) brought from home will be taken and will not be returned. Holland America Line security personnel may inspect containers (water bottles, soda bottles, mouthwash, luggage etc.) and will dispose of containers holding alcohol.
Is there Internet Access onboard Amsterdam?

Will my mobile phone work on Amsterdam?
The Amsterdam does feature a cell phone network that supports phone calls, internet browsing and text messaging. You should check with your mobile phone company for prices, and roaming fees can be incurred. (Cell phone calls can be very expensive).
When does the Amsterdam depart?
While the Amsterdam typically departs around 5 PM, departure times do vary by itineraries. You should have completed check-in and be onboard the ship at least 90 minutes before the scheduled departure time. Because the departure time might change, it's essential that you verify the exact scheduled sailing departure time with the cruise line!
